www.kansasstatefloristsassociation.com
The web page for the Kansas State Florists' Association should be up and running when you receive this mailing. It has taken much longer than expected to complete the site, but we feel you will find it well worth the wait.
Members will be able to e-mail the site and ask questions about products, care and handling, design tips, where to find what, etc. It can be a real tool in communication to members around the state.
The present and past Helianthus will be on the site and also up-coming events and other news that will pertain to the membership. It is our goal to give you regular monthly updates on things to do in your shop to create better profits.
When the site was launched, all florists who have been members of the association within the past four years were listed on the site. Please note that after the first of August 2007, florists who have not paid their 2007 KSFA dues will be deleted from the site.
If an individual is trying to find a florist in Kansas, in a certain town, they will be directed to our site as florists in Kansas. Only current members of the association will be listed on the site as florists in Kansas..
We also invite florists to link their present web site to the Kansas State Florists' Association web site. In that manner a consumer can go directly from the Kansas State site to your shop.
As you know, more and more consumers are looking toward the Internet for placing flowers orders. They can find you by looking for florists in Kansas or Kansas Florists, and your phone number and email address will be listed on the site. They can contact you directly.

Wichita Lawn and Garden Show
This past March, consumers were seen viewing the gardens at the 39th annual Wichita Garden Show, were you among them? The garden show draws between 30-50 thousand viewing consumers each year, to include some 2000 youngsters who are our future customers! Your odds of reaching new clients are much better than any bulk mailing.
By missing the 2007 Garden Show you missed out on over 116,000 square feet of breath-taking gardens, concerts and, educational programs. Next year plan to stop and smell the flowers. Gary H. Hackbart Jr. AIFD KAFD. organizes our booth as well as the entire show! Thanks Gary!
Kansas State Florists' Assocation members sold roses to show attendees as a fund maker and a chance to educate our public. The booth was operated by KSFA board members, florists and associate members!
